Woodworking: The First Cut is the Deepest

No, this is not a safety article but instead one of inspiration in getting started.  I too have been where you are and it only takes one action to begin this journey that we have all set upon. Are you ready? 

Woodworkers, DIY’ers, Handymen and women, or Doers have all started at a beginning. We all know making that first cut is both fun and, well, scary.  The smell of fresh-cut wood, the loud noises, the mess, and the mistakes, are all a part of the experience.

If you are afraid, good, after you’ve begun it will only empower you to be more courageous moving forward. 

If you are filled with self-doubt, fine, that will only make you trust in your abilities and community even more.

Fear, anxiety, self-doubt, and uncertainty are common emotions that hold most people back from trying something new. These emotions can be overwhelming and can prevent people from taking action and pursuing their goals. But not you. Not today.
